About The Position

Cut and supply production floor with materials according to schedules and due dates. Produce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.

Requirements

• Ability to perform all tasks in a safe manner.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and/or order specifications.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem-solving techniques using training, experience and reasoning skills.
• Proficient use of math skills.
• Strong commitment to quality and working safely.
• Ability to read various measuring devices (e.g., measuring tape, caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Ability to work independently or as a team with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret various paperwork, including but no limited to blueprints, layout, job order and related data for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as dimensions to be cut, depth of cut, and determines control settings, material requirements, machining methods and sequence of operations.
• Cut materials to correct length according to specifications.
• Measure parts and components to verify accuracy to specifications.
• Ensure all parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
• Verify raw material receipts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Work with purchasing on out-of-stock items to expedite delivery.
• Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance.
• Regular, consistent attendance.
