Basic Job Functions: Assists workers engaged in the fabrication of structural or sheet metal products by performing any combination of the following tasks: Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from machines to assist in fitting. Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work-in-progress by hand or truck. Cuts material using a saw cutting machine; a bandsaw cutting, particularly cutting multiple dimensions of square tubing, including structural channel. Might work on I-Beam cutting as well. Reads drawings and blueprints. Understand and follow safety procedures and guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous manufacturing experience or saw operating experience.
Able to work 10–12-hour rotational shifts as needed, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work with hand tools.
Being able to read a tape measure.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment.

Responsibilities
