Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

  • At the beginning of each shift, receive work orders from lead person.
  • Locate material to be produced and move materials to the band saw area.
  • Program band saw with the correct size according to the customer specifications.
  • Turn on band saw machine on and begin the cutting of the product.
  • Unload finished product onto flats.
  • Move product to next operation.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area.
  • Practice proper safety techniques.
  • Follow all procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
