About The Position

SSI is seeking a Satellite Flight Test SME for a role in Chantilly, VA. Role and Responsibilities: · Collaborate with the Capability Leads (Tranche level) and Capability Test Teams (Enterprise level) to develop the test plans, procedures, and coordinate all logistics for executing tests related to the capabilities (multiple capabilities may be tested in one test). · Provide systems engineering guidance in the development of test and evaluation plans, system verification plans, and other systems engineering processes and documents. · Oversees development of the detailed testing approach in accordance with the Enterprise strategy. · Develops test plans, procedures, and approvals. · Coordinates test execution and serves as Test Director for all events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or relevant technical discipline
• 20+ years of experience
• Technical and analytic understanding of satellite testing processes
• Understanding of satellite acquisition and operations technology best practices
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing detailed test plans
• Strong written and oral communications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• TS/SCI Clearance Required
