About The Position
seeking a SATCOM Network Engineer to support and manage complex global satellite communication (SATCOM) networks and iDirect systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing mission systems while mentoring Tier 1 technicians and driving operational excellence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with complex SATCOM systems (or equivalent education/training).
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Experience with iDirect Hub solutions, TCP/IP networking, and SATCOM/RF systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage global SATCOM networks and iDirect systems.
- Perform quality control on iDirect options files, MSL entries, and Remedy tickets.
- Provide operational support and guidance to Tier 1 technicians.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure mission success and continuous improvement.
