About The Position

We are looking for a talented SAP Technical Functional Excellence Manager to
join our team specializing in Technology and integrations for our Distribution
business in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Summary:

Manages improvement for the overall effectiveness of one or more functions.
Consults and supports processes, capabilities, systems and data for the function
aligned to end-to-end value stream performance goals. Partners to drive
improvement activities within the function to deliver performance objectives of
impacted value streams and improve outcomes for customers. Stays connected
within relevent industries to support advancement within the function and
position the company for sustainability and growth.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

Lead the coordination of functional maturity goals by bringing business
leaders, functional leaders, and end‑to‑end process owners into alignment
around shared priorities and measurable outcomes.
Shape and manage the functional excellence strategy and roadmap, ensuring the
function advances toward its maturity goals through clear direction,
disciplined execution, and continuous refinement.
Oversee performance metrics that directly support one or more internal value
chains or end‑to‑end processes, enabling data‑driven decisions and
transparent performance management.
Strengthen enterprise‑level governance of functional processes, systems, and
data, ensuring consistency, quality, and integration across the end‑to‑end
framework.
Support global functional talent development by contributing to position
profiles, competency models, and learning needs that build capability and
readiness across the function.
Advance the functional learning strategy by integrating experiential
learning, networking, professional associations, and formal training to build
a robust, future‑ready talent pipeline.
Apply business insight to identify growth opportunities that enhance
functional performance and improve outcomes for internal and external
customers.
Build and sustain deep operational knowledge of relevant practices,
analytics, governance, and quality, engaging with industry experts and peers
to bring best practices into the organization and deliver measurable,
high‑value improvements.
