About The Position

Fortuna is seeking an experienced Ariba Functional Lead to support SAP Ariba operations for a public sector client. This role focuses on Tier 1 and Tier 2 ticket resolution, system support, and functional analysis within the Ariba module. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with SAP Ariba, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with some onsite requirements in Sacramento, CA.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba (required)
• Strong functional knowledge of Ariba modules and workflows
• Experience supporting ticketing systems and incident resolution (Tier 1 / Tier 2)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Sacramento, CA

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with SAP environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for SAP Ariba-related issues
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets within the Ariba module
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to address system issues
• Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution and updates
• Document issues, resolutions, and system updates
• Support ongoing system improvements and enhancements within SAP Ariba
• Communicate status updates and resolution progress to stakeholders
