Toyota's Business Technology Platforms, SAP Delivery Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated SAP Sr. Developer - MDM/Reporting. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform SAP development for reporting, and the person in this role will report to the Manager, SAP Data & Analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent and/or Business Administration
  • Experience and understanding modules in ERP and S4 HANA Tables
  • ABAP programming experience (CDS Entity/Views)
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills to work across teams to develop and implement complex projects in an agile environment
  • 5+ years' experience with end-to-end application thinking, different reporting initiatives keeping large data volume and memory management into perspective, OSS notes, Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, Version upgrades
  • Ability to work with large, distributed teams (onshore and offshore) with diverse competencies, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-pressure culture environment with multiple-moving projects

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Management, or similar
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • SAP Certification
  • SAP Finance and Accounting experience
  • ServiceNow and/or JIRA experience
  • Experience with Data Lake cloud platforms (AWS/AZURE/GCP)
  • Experience with SAP BW/HANA Data modeling, BI tools (Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience in S4HANA 2.0, Data Warehouse, Analysis for Office
  • Experience collaborating with peers and other SAP Managers to plan roadmaps, upgrades, support Packs

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand current conditions, identify, and prioritize improvement opportunities and business requirements
  • Design and work on continuous improvements on existing custom development objects for TMNA, RICEF Coding and CDS views
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance policies
  • Perform end-to-end design, ABAP development, and reporting
  • Understand and troubleshoot all ABAP objects
  • Understand implementation methodology and technology on critical manufacturing plant reporting and support going forward
  • Collaborate with peers and make recommendations regarding upgrades and work closely with Center of Excellence (COE)
  • Develop and maintain SAP reports and analytical applications for SAP Fiori and Analysis for Office
  • Design and implement CDS views, AMDP classes, and RAP-based services to support reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements
  • Optimize ABAP code and database access for performance and scalability
  • Support integration of SAP backend data with Fiori/UI5 front-end applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP reports and data extraction
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and clean core coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and tools related to ABAP and reporting
  • Support master data requirements
