About The Position

Westernacher is seeking a hands-on SAP SD/MM Solution Architect to lead S/4HANA transformation initiatives with a strong focus on business outcomes.
In this role, you will translate strategic objectives into streamlined Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, enabling clients to adopt clean, scalable solutions while delivering measurable value.
This is a client-facing, delivery-focused contract role that blends deep functional expertise with a pragmatic, execution-driven consulting mindset.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD/MM implementation experience
• Proven track record of 3+ full lifecycle implementations (S/4HANA preferred)
• Strong functional expertise with a value-first, practical delivery approach
• Ability to clearly articulate trade-offs and guide stakeholders toward timely decisions
• Comfortable operating in a high-ownership, client-facing contract role

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in consulting environments (preferred)
• SAP S/4HANA SD/MM certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end S/4HANA SD/MM delivery—from discovery and design through go-live and hypercare
• Design fit-to-standard, clean-core solutions with only high-value, business-driven extensions
• Run focused workshops that drive clear decisions, scope alignment, and a prioritized backlog
• Advise business and IT stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Inventory, and Finance
• Ensure strong SD/MM–Finance integration and end-to-end process integrity
• Drive testing strategy, cutover readiness, and go-live continuity
• Support adoption and change enablement to ensure business value realization
• Contribute to presales activities (solution shaping, demos, proposals) as needed
• Mentor junior consultants while maintaining high delivery standards
