About The Position

- We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Project Manager to lead a U.S.-based retail and production ERP transformation program. This role owns end-to-end delivery governance, scope/change control, and integrated planning aligned to SAP Activate. A key focus of this role is managing the complexities of integrating retail operations with production sites, ensuring seamless execution across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing workstreams.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Language: Business-level fluency in English is mandatory. (Professional proficiency in Korean is a significant plus for global coordination).
  • Total Experience: 8–12 years of overall ERP/IT program management experience in complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • SAP Cloud Delivery Leadership: Proven experience leading at least 3 full-lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (from Prepare to Deploy/Go-Live).
  • Governance Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in establishing and operating program governance, including RAID logs, Decision logs, and Change Control Board (CCB) processes.
  • Methodology Expertise: Deep understanding of SAP Activate Methodology; ability to facilitate Fit-toStandard workshops and manage deliverables across all phases.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to lead customer-facing communications and manage executive-level expectations (Steering Committees, Status Reporting).

Nice To Haves

  • Retail & Manufacturing Domain: Understanding of omnichannel retail coupled with production processes (Order-to-Cash, Make-to-Stock/Order, Replenishment, Intercompany STO).
  • Technical Strategy: Experience with BTP (Business Technology Platform) for side-by-side extensions in a production context.
  • Data & Reporting: Deep understanding of inventory valuation, production costing, and master data governance (BOM, Routing, Material Master).
  • Certification: PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAP Activate certification

Responsibilities

  • Program Governance: Establish and operate the governance framework (Steering Committee, RAID, Decision Logs). Ensure reporting structures capture both retail and production-level KPIs.
  • Scope & Change Control: Maintain strict Phase 1 scope boundaries. Manage Change Requests (CR) with a specific focus on the impact of manufacturing process changes on the global template.
  • Integrated Planning (SAP Activate): Manage the Master Schedule (Prepare–Explore–Realize–Deploy). Proactively address bottlenecks in production site readiness and resource availability.
  • Production & Retail Integration: Oversee the alignment between manufacturing/production sites and retail distribution. Ensure that production planning (PP), inventory valuation, and supply chain workstreams are synchronized.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate SI partners and third-party vendors (POS, WMS, Factory Automation/MES, etc.). Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria.
  • Testing & Cutover Leadership: Lead SIT/UAT planning and defect triage. Develop a comprehensive Cutover Runbook that accounts for production downtime and inventory transition at manufacturing sites.
  • Adoption & Change Management: Enforce "Fit-to-Standard" principles. Establish data ownership guidelines to transition production sites from legacy/manual processes to standardized SAP Cloud workflows.
  • Commercial Management: Manage contract milestones, SOWs, and the commercial impact of scope changes for the Prime contract.
