About The Position

As an SAP-Program Manager you will be responsible for all project management processes on high complexity programs or a portfolio of moderate complexity projects. High complexity programs may span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. You will ensure that all projects within the program deliver on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with our goals, governance standards, and IT strategies. The IT Program Manager will provide strategic direction and provide visibility into program performance through reporting and partner engagement. You will report to the Manager, SAP technical center and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in office and 2 remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5 years program/project management experience within IT environment, likely 8-12.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project Online, ServiceNow)
  • Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and risk mitigation
  • Effective in leading a technical program to establish new capabilities, including new solutions and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Define complex program vision, scope, and goals; develop a comprehensive roadmap aligning with our goals.
  • Oversee the execution of all projects within the program, ensuring delivery and understanding of goals.
  • Manage overall project performance to meet quality, schedule and financial goals.
  • Manage program resource assignments to ensure program goals are achievable. Maintain understanding of program scope with strategic goals and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent. Provide leadership to train, motivate, and direct technical and administrative personnel to resolve issues during project implementation.
  • Identify program-level risks; develop and implement contingency plans ensuring minimal impact on timelines. Also, ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the program budget, control costs, and increase resource allocation across paths.
