About The Position

14537 – SAP HR Payroll Technology Business Analyst (onsite) – Houston, TX Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX (required); Experience in implementing and supporting US Payroll systems such as SAP and/or Workday (6+ years); Experience with standard office software, diagramming software, processes, and tools such as Microsoft Office products, LSMW, SAP Adhoc Query, Tableau reporting; Experience with project management best practices; Experience with complex data models and relational databases; Experience serving as the primary payroll subject matter expert for SAP and/or Workday Payroll, including configuration and ongoing support of earnings, deductions, tax setups, and payroll integrations; Experience leading integrated system testing for payroll changes (configuration, tax updates, and integrations) to ensure end‑to-end accuracy and compliance. Preferred: Experience with Workday Payroll implementation and support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Reviews, analyzes, and documents complex payroll processes and business requirements to support SAP HCM and Workday payroll systems; Serves as the primary subject matter expert for payroll configuration, including earnings, deductions, tax setups, workflows, and system integrations; Designs, configures, and maintains highly complex system solutions to meet Human Resources and payroll business needs; Performs advanced data extraction and analysis using enterprise reporting and data retrieval tools to support payroll operations and decision-making; Leads integrated system testing efforts to ensure payroll systems function accurately and as designed; Develops training materials, delivers training sessions, and provides ongoing support to business users and stakeholders; Builds strong partnerships with business units and IT teams while delivering clear presentations and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
