About The Position

As a Billing Lead Advisory at the Senior Consulting Manager level, you will lead enterprise-scale SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing transformations. This role requires strong consulting acumen, deep technical expertise, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative billing solutions.

Requirements

• 12-16 years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing processes.
• Proven expertise in Billing Scenarios, Revenue Recognition, Convergent Charging, and integration with SD and FI modules.
• Strong track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions in global consulting environments.
• In-depth understanding of tax regulations, audit standards, and enterprise governance frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Exposure to automation tools and analytics for billing optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Define scalable billing architectures ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
• Prepare and validate Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for advanced billing functionalities.
• Collaborate with finance and sales teams to optimise billing processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer experience.
• Manage cross-functional implementation teams, ensuring proactive risk management and adherence to governance frameworks.
• Conduct client workshops and provide strategic advisory on billing optimisation, leveraging automation and analytics.
• Oversee testing phases, cutover planning, and post-go-live support to ensure seamless business continuity.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align billing strategies with enterprise objectives and financial compliance requirements.
