About The Position
GDI Services, Inc., a leading provider of quality facility management services, for manufacturing & industrial, distribution, healthcare, commercial and educational facilities is in need of a housekeeper/janitorial worker for a location in Jackson, TN.
Requirements
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper floor maintenance
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required for the job
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
Responsibilities
- Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment
- Notifying managers of necessary repairs
- Assist with other custodial duties as assigned following SOP
