As a Sanitization Processor you will ensure bioburden reduction of all manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory and company standards. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Due to the specific duties of this job, you must be able to read, comprehend, write, and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedback.
  • Candidate will be required to pass basic English skills assessment.

Nice To Haves

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent Previous GMP, clean room, medical device experience preferred.
  • Full understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and supplies.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards, as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing.
  • Strict attention to detail and ability to comply with standards.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions.
  • Work in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requested.
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing tools received from SURG isolation and final assembly - including washing, cleaning, and wrapping - for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests.
  • Loading tools and manufacturing aids in the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified diagrammed instructions, and initiating equipment cycle for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests.
  • Reviewing, following and performing job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
  • On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
  • Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and photocopying cycle charts
