About The Position

Position Overview: Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of cafeterias, all restrooms, locker rooms, laundry room, office area and any other areas as directed by supervisor.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, vision and hear.
The employee is required to use hands, finger dexterity, pushing/pulling, climb and work off a ladder, lift up to 25 lbs., reaching, twisting, turning, stoop, bend, read, and write.

Responsibilities

General cleaning duties: This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping off, hosing down, use of compressed air, vacuuming, and laundry.
Ability to follow set sanitation procedures, schedules and document accordingly.
May be required to fill in for other sanitation personnel due to vacations, absences, etc.
May be required to assist in production whenever requested by supervisor.
Will be required to be a member of Blood-Bourne Pathogen team.
Ability to read instructions and follow all safety procedures/MSDS Sheets when working with cleaning chemicals.
Other duties include; cleaning sinks throughout facility, collecting/dumping garbage from restrooms and offices, restocking soap and paper towel dispensers and weekly cleaning of wash pits.
Weekly inspection of rodent traps
Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen and disposal of trash.
Keeps storage shelves and stockrooms clean, organized with items properly stored and rotated when deliveries are made.
Maintain a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies.
Assist with various odd/end jobs as assigned by supervisor.
Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Daily interaction with all departments within the company.
