Generally provides and maintains the plant and other areas in a clean and sanitary condition.

  • Prefer High School Diploma/GED
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable and self-driven
  • Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred

Responsibilities

  • General clean up of assigned lines
  • May include but is not limited to, general and specific cleaning, inspecting, and sanitizing of facility.
  • Washing and sanitizing equipment
  • Responsible for proper inventory of needed cleaning supplies and equipment. Must report the need of these supplies and equipment to the proper personnel.
  • Other related duties may be assigned.
  • Weighing and disposing of food waste and trash
  • Demonstrate consistent respectful communication with all team members.
  • Communicate any production issues to team members, demonstrating understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Sanitation Practices (GSP).
  • Participate in break rotations, write legibly, and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards specified by QC, disposing of non-compliant products and communicating with leadership as needed.
  • Adhere to company standards and safety regulations.
  • Report all injuries, unsafe conditions and acts
  • Use proper lifting techniques
  • Use mechanical assistance (handjack, forklift, manlift)
  • Use personal assistance (team lift for product above 50lb.)
  • Use handrails
  • Use and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP’S, SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality requirements.
