About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across our facility. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for food production, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services, with the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate cleaning equipment efficiently. Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and industrial cleaning techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety and hygiene compliance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, warehouses, and general facility spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning tasks to meet sanitation standards
- Sanitize equipment, surfaces, and workstations in food processing or manufacturing environments
- Assist with waste removal and disposal in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of cleaning machinery
- Document cleaning activities as required by company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all sanitation tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
