A sanitation technician is primarily responsible for maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety within our facility. Key duties include the deep cleaning, the precise management and application of chemical solutions to eliminate contaminants, and the maintenance of detailed sanitation records to ensure the facility meets quality and safety standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The specific responsibilities of a sanitor include Exterior Tank cleaning , and utensils using specialized tools such as high-pressure water hoses; cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, ceilings, drains, and vents; managing chemical storage and handling chemicals safely; transporting waste to disposal areas; and ensuring all sanitation activities adhere to Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) and safety guidelines like Lockout/Tagout when required and maintain a productive, fast-paced workflow while working in environments that may involve wet, slippery, or cold conditions
