About The Position

The Sanitation Technician must understand basic chemical safety, lift 29-49 lbs. continuously and independently throughout their shift, they will be required to walk a considerable distance over the course of the workday. The Sanitation Tech must be able to work in various conditions, such as cold, hot, and wet, humid (-45 – 110 F) This position will bend, lift, climb in a hot wet environment, clean equipment in an efficient and timely manner, operate high pressure foaming, and sanitizer system, work independently and on a team , working at a rapid pace for the duration of the shift. The Sanitation Technician will be exposed to loud noi ses on a constant basis, will need to provide up to four changes of clean clothes each day, some Saturday and Sundays will be required, must be willing to work longer hours than scheduled as defined by the needs of the company.

Requirements

  • HSD/GED are required
  • Must understand basic chemical safety
  • Must be able to lift 29-49 lbs. continuously and independently throughout their shift
  • Must be able to walk a considerable distance over the course of the workday
  • Must be able to work in various conditions, such as cold, hot, and wet, humid (-45 – 110 F)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sanitation food industry, industrial cleaning, production and/or manufacturing are preferred, with at least 1 year experience.
