About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Industrial Janitor / Sanitation Technician to support cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining all production areas, equipment, and common spaces while following GMP, SQF, and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous industrial cleaning, janitorial, or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sanitation guidelines
Knowledge of GMP, safety procedures, and workplace cleanliness standards
Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

Basic mechanical or equipment knowledge is a plus
Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain production areas, warehouse, breakrooms, and restrooms
Perform sanitation around machinery, including molding machines and walkways
Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
Remove trash and ensure proper waste disposal procedures
Maintain hand wash stations and ensure compliance with sanitation standards
Assist with spill cleanup and non-routine sanitation events
Support preventive maintenance (PM) activities, including deep cleaning of machines and equipment
Ensure cleaning tools and supplies are properly stored and maintained
Maintain outdoor areas including basic grounds upkeep
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF (Safe Quality Food), and safety guidelines
Complete required documentation and support overall plant cleanliness goals
