About The Position

Objective of the position: Sanitation associates are responsible for housekeeping, pest control, wet cleaning and sanitation of equipment in the plant adhering to strict Food Safety and Quality requirements. Minimum Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of Sanitation in Manufacturing environments preferred; not required. Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work well as a member of a cross-functional team. Ability to multi-task; not easily distracted by interruptions. Sunday 5 AM – 12 PM, Monday through Friday 6 AM – 3 PM. Tasks and Responsibilities: Maintain sanitizer stations for hands and footwear Stock shoe covers, hair nets, beard nets and ear plugs throughout the plant Safely handle and dispense cleaning and sanitizing chemicals Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors and stairs Clean and sanitize equipment, forklifts and tanks Operate the floor scrubber Learn and report signs of insects or rodents Perform overhead cleaning of piping and equipment May drive forklift or use pallet jack to moved pallets May lock out and tag out equipment Follow work instructions and SSOPs General housekeeping duties, such as emptying the trash, mopping, etc. Perform environmental sampling (Environmental Residue Swabbing) and recording in QA Manager System. Various other duties as assigned by Sanitation Supervisor. Food Safety: Follow company cGMP program Report any food safety issues to the FS/QA Manager or other Company Official Perform company Sanitation Procedures Food Quality: Report Quality issues to FS/QA Manager or other company official Occupational Safety: Follow company safety protocols and procedures.
