About The Position

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the facility. This role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and waste-handling duties in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The technician supports operations by ensuring cleanliness in production, warehouse, and common areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience in sanitation, janitorial, or industrial cleaning (preferred).
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends.
Understanding of sanitation and hygiene standards

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, floors, surfaces, and facility areas.
Follow established sanitation procedures, schedules, and safety guidelines.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment for deep sanitation.
Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals according to instructions and safety data sheets (SDS).
Operate sanitation equipment such as power washers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and foamers.
Remove and properly dispose of waste and recyclables.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
Maintain accurate sanitation logs, checklists, and compliance documentation.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
