About The Position

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the production areas, warehouse spaces, and sanitation-controlled equipment surfaces within established cleaning timelines. This role supports compliance with GMP requirements, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks, and food safety regulatory expectations. Your Responsibilities Clean and sanitize processing equipment in accordance with company procedures and SSOPs Clean conveyors, tanks, foaming production areas, and general production spaces Sweep, mop, and scrub floors using manual tools and powered floor-scrubbing equipment as needed Perform sanitation activities supporting the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to maintain regulatory and internal food safety compliance Use cleaning and sanitation chemicals safely according to SDS guidelines and company procedures Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training; report unsafe conditions immediately Support and comply with quality systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety programs, employee safety initiatives, and preventive maintenance coordination Support and comply with GMP requirements at all times Assist with sanitation documentation and completion of daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation logs. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow written procedures, sanitation instructions, and assigned schedules
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to safely work with sanitation chemicals
  • Ability to use PPE appropriately
  • Ability to climb ladders and operate floor-scrubbing equipment
  • Ability to operate forklift and floor scrubber
  • Ability to complete sanitation documentation accurately and on time
