About The Position

The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the food manufacturing facility, including equipment and processes. This role ensures that regulatory requirements and company standards are consistently met. The Sanitation Technician implements and maintains effective sanitation procedures to prevent contamination, supporting a safe and healthy environment for food production.

Requirements

  • Available to work 2:00am-10:00am Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing sanitation preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and FDA/USDA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and utensils according to company protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as high-pressure washers and scrubbers.
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation chemical concentrations.
  • Address any sanitation issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
