About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Sanitation Manager, you will lead the third shift sanitation team at our Russellville, Arkansas manufacturing facility to achieve safety, quality, and production goals. You will oversee sanitation execution, remove process bottlenecks, ensure resources are available to meet the sanitation schedule, and develop a highly engaged, team‑oriented workforce while supporting continuous improvement across the plant. A Taste of Your Responsibilities You will lead, coach, and develop a large third shift sanitation team of hourly employees, fostering strong engagement, accountability, and teamwork. You will train hourly plant sanitation employees on sanitation processes, methods, and expectations. You will monitor sanitation effectiveness across the facility and adjust staffing, priorities, and processes as needed. You will plan and complete daily, weekly, and periodic plant‑wide cleaning and sanitation activities. You will maintain the Master Cleaning Schedule, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures aligned with regulatory requirements, the Plant Improvement Plan, and the Environmental Swabbing Program. You will conduct periodic plant inspections and audits and track corrective actions to completion. You will collaborate with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and plant partners to support sanitation and facility needs. You will ensure compliance with sanitation requirements and the proper use of cleaning and exterminating agents. You will evaluate hourly employee performance, communicate expectations and feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement in alignment with labor agreements. You will support plant and company safety programs, promoting adherence to safety requirements including lock‑out and tag‑out, personal protective equipment, and confined space entry. You will support continuous improvement goals related to safety, quality, cost, and customer service. You will work fully onsite and rotate to other areas or shifts periodically based on business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with teams of 50 or more hourly employees in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the capacity to lead, coach, and engage a diverse bilingual hourly workforce.
  • General knowledge of food manufacturing sanitation and food safety guidelines, including regulatory expectations and sanitation systems.
  • Strong computer skills with the capacity to learn new systems and technology.
