About The Position
What You'll Do: Supervision of Clean Up / Sanitation of the Plant Cleaning at the end of production The Production Manager is a back-up for this position Paperwork Documentation of what has been cleaned and when Order Chemicals and Janitorial Supplies Write & Update Cleaning Procedures for production lines Manage and direct pest control program Vendor Relations
Requirements
- 4 year degree in Food Science, Management/Supervision, or equivalent
- 2-4 years’ experience in Sanitation &/or Supervision – food industry preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, equipment operation, & chemicals
- Computer proficient – MS Office
- Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal
- Problem solver
- Able to make quick, but accurate decisions
- Good leadership qualities
- Self-Starter
- Proactive
- Able to work well with others
- Able to walk and stand on concrete floors for long periods of time
- Moderate lifting and climbing
- Able to work flexible work hours
Nice To Haves
- Certified PCO, preferred
