About The Position

Job Details: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. Hours are from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Pay is $19.55 per hour. To clean the manufacturing facility according to established standard operating procedures and within established time standards while meeting USDA requirements and following all corporate policies and procedures pertaining to Safety, Total Quality Control and Good Manufacturing Practices. Tasks: Must be able to read production schedules and set up for the next day of production. Responsibilities include; Rinse equipment with high pressure hot water systems. Apply cleaning chemicals to equipment walls, ceilings, floors and drains with a foam or gel tank. Scrub equipment with cleaning chemicals by using a green pad. Lift parts to tear down / set up equipment or to properly store. Climb ladders / steps to clean overhead areas. Shovel meat from the floor. Clean the floor using the squeegee. Wipe condensation from overhead structures with a condensation mop. Assures sanitation quality by adhering to SSOP and USDA polices. (Pre-op/or checks area before the start up) Must be able to remember hiding spots and niche areas that exist on every piece of equipment. Responsible for Lock Out/Tag Out. Must have the ability to spot/locate any deficiencies during pre-op inspections. May be asked to train new and temporary Team members. Must be willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals on a nightly basis. (Caustics/Acids). Must be willing to work with others in a team environment and interact with other departments. Team member has an individual responsibility to report all deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety. Must be willing to work in an environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 100F.

Requirements

  • Must have six (6) months of work history with same employer for the past 24 months.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
  • Must be able to read production schedules and set up for the next day of production.
  • Must be able to remember hiding spots and niche areas that exist on every piece of equipment.
  • Must have the ability to spot/locate any deficiencies during pre-op inspections.
  • Must be willing and able to work with hazardous chemicals on a nightly basis. (Caustics/Acids).
  • Must be willing to work with others in a team environment and interact with other departments.
  • Team member has an individual responsibility to report all deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety.
  • Must be willing to work in an environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 39F to 100F.
