About The Position

Responsible for breaking down equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up, while also adhering to Core Safety, food safety policies, and company policies. Must be willing and able to: Dry pickup area. Break down and set up equipment where needed. Use of high-pressure hose to rinse area and floor. Use of various chemicals to foam and scrub floor. Visually check area for cleanliness. Ability to work closely with Quality Assurance and USDA. Uphold the principals of SQF 2000. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. Ability to become certified in Tyson’s Lock Out/Tag Out program. Must be willing and able to pinch/grip product/equipment. Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to bending, twisting, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months
  • Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours
  • Familiar with safe operation and use of high-pressure hoses and sanitation chemicals
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience
