The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the manufacturing areas, general office area, and external facilities are well maintained, and remain clean and free of microbiological contamination and pest infestation. This position manages the sanitation of the facility, including supervision sanitation team and the temporary associate cleaning crews, to ensure the factory continuously meets or exceeds established guidelines and standards. This role is responsible for implementing site and corporate Food Safety & Sanitation initiatives, specifically for developing the Sanitation and Pest Control Programs that support the existing and expanding Food Safety requirements. The Sanitation Manager will facilitate teams in his/her area of responsibility and conduct or coordinate the necessary training for both the individual associates and the team. This manager will implement and enforce established policy and strategy in line with HACCP, CFIA, FDA and Mars QMP Standards. The Sanitation Manager will support necessary audits to maintain required Food Safety Certifications
