About The Position

Shaw Bakers is looking for a Sanitation Manager to join our South San Francisco team!

The Role
The Sanitation Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of the Sanitation program throughout the plant to ensure compliance with our SQF, Regulatory requirements and Food Safety Program. This position reports to the Plant Director and works collaboratively with other Managers including Production, Packaging, QA, Maintenance and Safety. The Sanitation manager will train and develop all sanitation employees to be able to identify and control GMP issues and to enforce all current food safety standards. The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for communicating in a clear manner any Sanitation issues with the Plant Director, Quality Manager, Maintenance Manager, Production Manager, and Sanitation Staff.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience leading Sanitation in Food Manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a Leadership role
• Experience in implementing SQF Certification and leading all audits (Customer, Regulatory)
• Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Teamwork: Enjoys collaborating with multiple functional groups in Operations. Ability to work independently and within a team environment while adapting to changing organizational and operational needs. Ability to Supervise and manage conflicts within a team.
• Analytical skills: Critical thinker with problem solving and strong analytical skills.
• Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred
