About The Position

The Sanitation Manager leads all sanitation programs at the facility to ensure food safety, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. This role works cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Corporate teams to drive sanitation excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
• Experience leading sanitation operations in a food processing environment
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation best practices, and basic microbiology
• Prior people leadership and project management experience
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills (Microsoft Office; SAP preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the sanitation department to ensure compliance with food safety, human safety, chemical safety, and regulatory requirements
• Own audit readiness, sanitation shutdowns, sanitary design projects, and sanitation improvement initiatives
• Partner with Quality to execute food safety, food defense, HACCP, and health & safety programs
• Track and analyze sanitation performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Manage sanitation budget, training, pest control, and contractor/vendor relationships
