About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Sanitation Worker - 3rd Shift - Full Time - Amherst, OH 44001 Hours: For 3rd shift, 11pm-7:30am, with overtime required as needed. Starting Pay: $20.85/HR, includes a shift differential of $1/HR for working 3rd shift. This position is responsible for operating and disassembling equipment as assigned for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection at start-up, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies.

Requirements

Less than 4 attendance points.
No Final Attendance warning in the previous six (6) months.
No Written Warning for Job Performance In the previous six (6) months.
All disciplinary actions are reviewed. Employees cannot have any active disciplinary actions on file within the past 6 months.

Responsibilities

Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.
Clean up excess waste on the floors.
Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.
Scour all equipment with a scouring pad and/or chemicals are required.
Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, and oil when done.
Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
Perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor.
Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF Requirements.
Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute).
Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.
Must be willing and able to work in extremely hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
Must be willing and able to work with a noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Must be willing and able to rotate as required for positions.
