JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION SUMMARY: Food Production - Sanitation Worker - 3rd Shift - Full Time - Amherst, OH 44001 Hours: For 3rd shift, 11pm-7:30am, with overtime required as needed. Starting Pay: The pay for these positions start at $20.85/HR, includes a shift differential of $1/HR for working 3rd shift, and have potential for overtime. This position is responsible for operating and disassembling equipment as assigned for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection at start-up, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies.

Requirements

• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute).
• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be willing and able to work in extremely hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
• Must be willing and able to work with a noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be willing and able to rotate as required for positions.

Responsibilities

• Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.
• Clean up excess waste on the floors.
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.
• Scour all equipment with a scouring pad and/or chemicals are required.
• Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, and oil when done.
• Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
• Perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF Requirements.
