About The Position

The Sanitation Associate plays a mission-critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and production-ready facility. This role is responsible for executing daily sanitation activities that protect product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and support uninterrupted operations. Simply put: no sanitation, no production—this role directly impacts our ability to deliver for our customers. This position is a foundational pillar of our operation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols without cutting corners.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that requires attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job the right way, every time.
  • Accountability-driven mindset—you own your work and your impact.
  • Team-oriented with clear communication skills.
  • Safety-first mentality with the ability to work independently once trained.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior sanitation experience in a manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment strongly preferred (but we will train the right mindset).

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily, weekly, and periodic sanitation procedures for production equipment, workspaces, and common areas in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, drains, and production surfaces using approved chemicals and tools.
  • Safely handle, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following all safety guidelines and training.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment as required for thorough cleaning.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in real time to support food safety, quality, and audit readiness.
  • Identify and escalate sanitation, safety, or equipment concerns to leadership proactively—see something, say something.
  • Maintain compliance with all GMPs, food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve sanitation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure operational alignment.
