About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of pre-operational procedures by establishing and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout all Truvant’s facilities. This is accomplished by following sanitation procedures, SSOPs, and work instructions. While working in production, personnel are responsible for inspection, packaging and palletizing products to Truvant and customer specifications.

Knowledge gained through on the job training of company products, policies, and procedures
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Skill in operating various equipment as needed to perform the job
Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
Ability to keep company and customer information that is discussed or viewed while under employment with Truvant confidential
Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, work instructions including but not limited to: Truvant policies, customer specific policies, ISO, GMP’s, USDA, regulatory food safety and food defense

Responsibilities

Daily cleaning and sanitizing of production rooms, pack-off areas, and packaging equipment
Cleaning and sanitizing of any other areas assigned by the sanitation supervisor.
Disassembling and assembling of equipment and production lines.
Operate a floor buffer and scrubber.
Fill out required sanitation pre-operational reports.
Complete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products
Understand palletization of each product
Identify defects in packages/pouches
Operate a pallet jack
Other duties as assigned
