About The Position

As Sanitary Sewer Systems Lead to oversee and coordinate sewer system operations and maintenance. The Lead will guide field crews, ensure safe and efficient operations, and manage complex projects while maintaining high standards for system reliability and regulatory compliance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of sewer system technicians in daily operations, maintenance, and repair of sanitary sewer infrastructure. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate sewer system projects, maintenance schedules, and emergency responses. Perform advanced troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of sewer lines, manholes, lift stations, and related wastewater systems. Operate and oversee the use of specialized equipment, including jetting trucks, vacuum trucks, video inspection cameras, and pipe locators. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wastewater regulations and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and crew activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, engineers, and other departments regarding sewer system projects. Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed and coordinate efficient resolution of issues. Conduct safety briefings, train crew members, and enforce adherence to safety policies, including confined space protocols.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Master or Journeyman Plumber.
  • Master Operator training in building automation systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in wastewater or sanitary sewer systems.
  • Proven leadership experience in supervising field crews or managing infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of sewer system maintenance, plumbing codes, and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
