About The Position

We are hiring a dependable Sandblaster to support production for a company that manufactures parts used in the pipeline industry. This role is responsible for preparing metal components by removing rust, scale, coatings, and contaminants to ensure proper finishing and coating adhesion.

Requirements

• Previous sandblasting or industrial experience preferred
• Experience working with metal components in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing for long periods, lifting, bending)
• Comfortable working in a dusty and noisy environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Previous sandblasting or industrial experience preferred
• Experience working with metal components in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare pipeline components (pipe, fittings, valves, etc.)
• Remove rust, mill scale, paint, and other surface contaminants
• Ensure surfaces meet required specifications for coating and finishing
• Load and unload materials using proper handling techniques
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain blasting equipment and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety guidelines, including use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and protective suits
• Work with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines
