About The Position

As Samples Coordinator at Eatery Essentials, you will work behind the scenes to ensure that daily administrative and operational tasks run efficiently. This ensures the accurate and efficient handling of samples orders and shipments by coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting internal and external customer needs. This role focuses on maintaining organization in the shipping area, ensuring quality and compliance in all shipments, and providing timely communication and problem resolution related to deliveries and inventory.

Participate in other site safety reviews.
Complete all required ESHA training in a timely fashion.
Participate in any safety investigations when called upon to do so.
Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines; informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately; wears and utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Responsible for ensuring regulations and company quality procedures are followed in the performance of your job.
Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in your work areas.
Responsible for maintaining all Quality documents assigned to your job are properly completed following our GMP & BRC standards.
Responsible completing all Quality training to maintain the ability to do your job following our SOPs.
Responsible for actively participating in GEMBA walks when called upon to do so.
High School Diploma required.
A minimum of three years of experience in shipping and/or order processing required

Nice To Haves

Experience with domestic and import logistics strongly preferred.
Experience with warehouse receiving a plus
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinator and maintain samples orders and packages both inbound and outbound from the plant.
Effectively communicates with Sales and customers as needed regarding status of sample requests, quality questions, inventory needs.
Test samples for proper function and quality before sending to customers
Processes return for any defective or incorrect items.
Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary
Ensures that samples area is clean and organized.
Requests proper items / quantities needed based on inventory movement before out of stock.
Maintains records of all received shipments.
Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database.
Contacts distributor to inquire about shipment delays or problems.
Reports any major or unresolved shipment delays or problems to supervisor
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
