We are seeking a Sample Processing/Testing - Laboratory Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Austin, Texas. Job Summary: Perform routine laboratory analyses and testing on client specimens to generate accurate and reliable data while ensuring timely documentation and review of all work performed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline, with a minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical laboratory environment operating under GLP and/or CLIA guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards such as CLIA
  • Hands-on experience with pipetting, molecular biology techniques, and basic laboratory calculations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in laboratory work and documentation
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control practices, and hazardous chemical handling
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document routine specimen testing procedures in accordance with SOPs, GLP, and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Complete laboratory documentation accurately and in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Assess test procedures to ensure results are within acceptable tolerances and meet quality expectations
  • Identify abnormal results, quality control issues, or procedural deviations and escalate to senior laboratory staff
  • Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned
  • Support the review, development, and implementation of laboratory procedures and process improvements
