Sample Analyst
About The Position
The role of the Merchandise Sample Analyst is act as lead liaison between merchandising offices, sample team & photo studio team to troubleshoot sample and vendor errors and own errors to resolution. Job Functions • Act as lead liaison between merchandising offices, sample team & photo studio • Partner with internal merchant teams and vendor contacts to ensure accuracy & timeliness of product set up process flow • Troubleshoot sample/vendor errors while working with merchandising and sample teams and own to resolution • Daily reconciliation of samples to ensure data and tag information for samples are accurately labeled and entered • Reconciling and reporting of samples that are scheduled to arrive at the studio that are not received/processed • Collaborates cross-functionally on projects as assigned by the manager for process creation, streamlining and improvement. • Orchestrate and serve as the point person to give direction to the onsite teams and scheduling onsite teams in partnership with other leaders • Assist with customer service questions, warehouse issues and product questions as needed • Continuously review sample tracking technologies and processes to ensure best practices
Requirements
- Excellent supervisory, analytical and reasoning skills. Aptitude for finding creative solutions to complex problems.
- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to work with little supervision. Good organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills. Comfort level in communicating with all levels in the organization and external vendors.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Required to be in the studio onsite full time
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of sample coordination or studio experience preferred
- Workhorse, Sample Tracking, Salsify and Marketing Workflow experience preferred
