Salesforce Technical Lead
About The Position
Our Sacramento, California client is seeking a senior-level Salesforce Technical Lead for a hybrid project (in office on Monday and Wednesday) providing both strategic direction and hands-on leadership for the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Salesforce solutions, with a strong emphasis on higher education environments and Salesforce Education Cloud. The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce platform expertise along with a product-minded approach, capable of making informed architectural and design decisions, overseeing vendors and system integrators, and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. This role requires the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and integration-ready CRM solutions that align with institutional objectives and long-term roadmap goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including large-scale implementations
- Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, automation, and customization
- Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural governance
- Experience overseeing and validating work performed by implementation vendors
- Experience designing solutions that integrate with enterprise systems
- Experience supporting higher education or Education Cloud (EDA) implementations
- Salesforce certifications demonstrating advanced platform knowledge
