About The Position

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect! Capio Group is a California-based Information Technology Consulting firm serving the public sector since 2010. Capio Group is looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to provide IT Services for implementation of the clients cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post-implementation services. The proposed solution is an enterprise-level data system, to address current and future information needs. The client solution supports a secure system to intake documentation, certifications, compliance forms, and data from public water systems; determine compliance; support staff and management through compliance evaluations, document generation, and recordkeeping; facilitate data-driven decision-making; and provide automated data publication. This role defines the Salesforce technical scope and works with the development team to size and design components and integrations.

Requirements

Within the last ten (10) years, must have a minimum seven (7) years of full-time experience data architecting enterprise solutions in a lead role on complex information technology project(s) with a with a minimum contract value of at least ten million $10M+, implementing, integrating, and managing a cloud-based SaaS solution with and 10,000+ users and with the Salesforce technology to be implemented in the proposed solution (e.g., providing technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle, reviewing and validating solution designs from other team members, performing design and debug activities for multiple systems, process improvement, solution development, and performance analysis on solutions). Desirable Qualification scores may be awarded for additional years of experience.
Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of experience in a Solution Architect role on a complex information technology project(s) with a contract value of at least ten million ($10M) involving stakeholder groups both internal and external to the organization in at least five (5) business programs or functional areas which include: (a) Data management, (b) Case management, (c) Implementing a cloud solution, and (d) At least one of the following additional functions: i. Data Submission ii. Entity Management iii. Reporting Management Desirable Qualification scores may be awarded for additional years of experience.
Must possess and maintain Enterprise Architecture Certification in one or more industry-leading architecture framework(s). A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least five (5) years of implementing and maintaining enterprise-level ECM platforms such as DocuEdge, Documentum, Hyland OnBase or equivalent ECM platforms. Desirable Qualification scores may be awarded for additional years of experience.
Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least five (5) years of experience in integrating the ECM process with a customized SaaS solution.
Within the last fifteen (15) years, must have ten (10) years of experience overseeing daily technical operations; implementing best practices and coding standards; leading development team activities; coordinating with the software development team in addressing technical issues. Desirable Qualification scores may be awarded for additional years of experience.
Within the last ten (10) years, must have five (5) years of experience as the technical lead for enterprise solution implementations in the primary software solution Salesforce. Desirable Qualification scores may be awarded for additional years of experience.
Must be able to provide a client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project meeting the requirements upon request. The reference contact must be a representative of the company for which the project was developed and have performed a management or supervisory role.

Nice To Haves

Within the last ten (10) years, one (1) or more additional years of experience with cloud technologies in an architecture and/or infrastructure role.
Within the last ten (10) years, prior experience with the Water Industry or similar Natural Resources agencies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall design and configuration of the Salesforce solution to meet the functions defined by the requirements and elicited business rules.
Configure the solution database to include client data fields.
Ensures the solution complies with information security standards, Protocols, best practices, requirements, and all required applicable state security provisions.
Accountable for the clients system architecture, technical design and technical implementation.
Responsible for defining and documenting network, security, and server specifications
Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, including all technical documentation on the Contractor's solution.
Monitor the development process and keep stakeholders, including senior architects and technical operations teams, informed in collaboration with the Lead Developer.
Establishes documentation and coding standards for the Project team and ensures the team adheres to the standards.
Is available to clients Project teams for consultation on future enhancements (e.g., changes to achieve strategic objectives, implement a new program).
Oversees the development of all technical documentation.
Maintains familiarity with the technical design of all the components, has a solution-wide view and ensures each component/module works together to address the technical requirements.
Design, build, and test interfaces and data conversion.
Ensures & addresses all the functional and non-functional requirements.
Works with Software Solutions Architect, Data Architect and Business Analyst to ensure adherence to requirements.
Establishes, maintains and documents the Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline.
Utilize the latest state-of-the-art technologies as much as possible.
Provide technical leadership to an architecture team throughout the solution development, maintenance and operations services.
Review and validate solution design proposals from other teams as necessary.
Manage and communicate technical risks and mitigation options during solution development.
Develop detailed design documents, interface specifications, and performance and capacity test plans.
Architects and designs software modules to be implemented.
Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at engineering solutions.
Designs and participates in the development of the abstraction layer.
Works with the State and other technical staff to conceptualize, design, and build interfaces between multiple entities.
Directs and participates in all phases of application development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing, and acceptance phases.
Designs, develops, and maintains cloud architecture and infrastructure.
Establishes an enterprise-wide process to complete the planning and implementation of software systems.
Ensures the seamless interface of the solution with other legacy applications wherever needed.
Serves as the point of contact for content management matters to resolve all issues related to documents, including quality standards.
