About The Position

Salesforce Technical Architect Join the Quest Software Enterprise Applications team and partner with stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable, efficient solutions that drive the growth of the Quest business. We’re seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce platform capabilities. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutions while providing technical leadership across teams. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring in-office presence Monday through Friday at our Austin office, Domain area. Must currently reside in the Austin, TX region

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience across multi-cloud environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, CPQ).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, workflow automation, and multi-cloud integration.
  • Expertise in optimizing Salesforce governor limits, with strong knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC), Platform Events, metadata-driven logic, and high-volume processing.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using Boomi.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce Account Management, Opportunity Management, Forecasting, and Territory Management for complex organizational structures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate across geographically diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, professionalism, and a drive to succeed.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM201)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1)
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator

  • Experience with Salesforce Agentforce for intelligent service automation and agent productivity.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud for real-time data unification, identity resolution, and customer insights.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive Sales Cloud solutions, including Sales Processes, Opportunity Management, Account Management, Sales Analytics, Billing, and Invoicing, Portals
  • Develop and maintain complex Account Management solutions, collaborating with the data team on data modeling, workflow automation, and integrations with other Salesforce cloud products (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, 3 rd Party applications, MDM).
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce/Force.com and third-party application projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design solutions to address them.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and specifications.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient solutions to be executed by QA, developers, and configuration resources.
  • Establish and enforce standards for Salesforce development, deployment, and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technical debt and drive simplification and modernization of the Salesforce org.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce developers, administrators, and engineers.
  • Partner with InfoSec to ensure secure authentication, authorization, and data handling practices.
