About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications. The role involves close collaboration with development and business stakeholders to validate Salesforce functionality, integrations, and enhancements across multiple releases. This position requires hands-on experience with Salesforce platform components, API testing, and modern automation frameworks in a hybrid onsite environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite at client location in Phoenix, AZ (3 days per week).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of QA experience, with 2+ years focused on Salesforce test automation.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including data model, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Process Builder.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Karate, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, or Python).
  • Experience testing Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-related test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, or Salesforce-specific frameworks).
  • Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience writing SOQL queries for test validation.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and debug Apex code and LWC (preferred but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce modules.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, or similar.
  • Validate Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs to ensure reliable system integrations.
  • Write and execute SOQL queries for data validation, test verification, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify defects, debug issues, and verify fixes.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Test Salesforce components, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Process Builder.
  • Maintain clear test documentation, results, and traceability using test management tools.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
