About The Position

As a Salesforce Manager at AWG, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to ensure smooth operation across all business functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT, to ensure that Salesforce is meeting the needs of the business and providing insights that drive decision-making and efficiency.  The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce administration, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role, with hands-on experience configuring and supporting Salesforce applications.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) required. Additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211), Platform App Builder, or Sales Cloud Consultant are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder, Workflow Rules).
  • Proficiency in reporting, dashboards, and data management within Salesforce.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business-friendly language.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to think critically and provide solutions to optimize Salesforce functionality.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Occasional travel to AWG locations may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other platforms integrated with Salesforce (e.g., ERP systems, marketing automation tools).
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and familiarity with its user interface.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data modeling, security, and access controls.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Salesforce, ensuring it is running efficiently and supporting business objectives.
  • Handle day-to-day support and maintenance of the Salesforce environment, including user management, data management, and system updates.
  • Perform regular system audits and data quality checks to ensure the integrity of information across the platform.
  • Customize Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom fields, objects, workflows, reports, dashboards, and process automation (e.g., Flows, Process Builder).
  • Work with internal teams to understand business processes and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support to users across the organization, answering questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to ensure users understand how to leverage Salesforce effectively.
  • Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics.
  • Assist teams in using Salesforce data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Act as the point of contact between business units and the IT team for Salesforce-related initiatives.
  • Participate in regular meetings to understand business requirements and provide Salesforce solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features; recommend improvements to the platform to enhance business functionality.
  • Lead or assist in the implementation of new Salesforce features or modules as needed.
