About The Position

The Salesforce Success Central (SFSC) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented System Development Engineer to be developing solutions that make it simpler for CRM customers to manage, maintain and operate at scale. We will provide products and solutions that help give our talented selling and marketing teams “superpowers” that let them focus on the customer and helping them drive their business. We’re handling massive scale, providing strategic data that drives the AWS business internally, and supporting one of the largest field sales organizations in the world. As a Systems Development Engineer in SFSC team, you will help own and contribute to defining and governing coding standards, implementing design patterns, and refactoring existing code. In addition to working on the latest Salesforce technologies such as Lightning and Einstein you will also have the opportunity to work with AWS Services to innovate in the space of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). You’ll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field and embed operational knowledge and encode best practices into everything we do. In addition, as part of the broader AWS Sales and Marketing organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader cloud strategy for AWS and potentially future AWS products. You will be joining a team that is diverse and experienced in all aspects of Salesforce Development and are willing to collaborate with and mentor new members. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, someone that approaches complex business questions with data and curiosity, and a person that dives below the surface to identify the root cause and "so what" rather than just superficial trends. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
• 6+ years of Salesforce Development experience solutions along with Salesforce platform development certificate

Nice To Haves

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Experience with distributed systems at scale

Responsibilities

• Build solutions in Salesforce.com leveraging Force.com, VisualForcconfi, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs
• Own all aspects of architecture, end to end design, development, security, design/development best practices, integration and deployment (CI/CD), release architecture and automation regression testing
• Support cross systems integrations across native Salesforce eco system, as well as other cloud technologies including AWS
• Partner with product owners to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value
• Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com in innovative ways to improve existing business processes, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
