About The Position

The Sr Salesforce Developer will be part of the Technology team providing business application solutions to enhance Servicing agents’ experiences while working to support our loan and lease customers. Day to day activities will involve building solutions on Salesforce and integrating Salesforce into a rich ecosystem of custom built applications on Azure and AWS, as well as third party solutions. This role will be helping to stand up a new instance of Salesforce, working with Salesforce resources to define how a captive lender will use their Automotive Cloud Solution and related Data Architecture. Salesforce technical skills will require knowledge and experience in custom LWC, Apex, Flows and Scheduled jobs. The Sr Salesforce Developer will collaborate with key business subject matter experts and technical architects to implement and deliver amazing solutions to help our agents work in compliant and efficient ways. The Sr Salesforce Developer will also need to understand and promote best-in class DevOps and delivery practices including testing and monitoring. This role will also be responsible for helping to define and implement best practices in microservices and API first design integrating Salesforce into our enterprise tech landscape.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of integrating Salesforce with a broad range of enterprise technologies across Azure and AWS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information experience; or over 7 years experience of equivalent work required
  • 5-7 years of Salesforce experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and related Salesforce technologies such as Own
  • Excellent Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project Management skills

Responsibilities

  • Be able to collaborate to define, design, develop and deliver the best Data Architecture to support our business needs balancing storage, API traffic and synchronization with other systems of record
  • Utilize technical aspects of Salesforce such as Apex triggers, classes, Flows and Scheduled jobs; as well as knowledge of Cases and Service cloud work processes
  • Be able to deliver encryption configurations, user security profiles and permissions, monitoring and disaster recovery using Own to fulfil our Cyber requirements
  • Be able to design data synchronization between Salesforce and other systems
  • Deliver outbound and inbound API integrations
  • Keep up with and evangelize best practices for implementing Salesforce solutions and integrations with enterprise systems
  • Specific knowledge of call-center integration flows and technologies such as: telephony integration, Salesforce service process studio, advanced API integration, integration experience on public clouds such as AWS or Azure
