About The Position

As a Salesforce Consultant at Nuvitek, you will take an active role in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions for federal government clients. Building on your foundational experience, you'll work on complex projects involving multi-state system consolidations, integrations with external systems, and custom application development. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams on full lifecycle implementations from discovery through deployment, contributing technical expertise while continuing to grow your skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Sales and Service Cloud projects
  • Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Demonstrated experience implementing security measures in Salesforce applications
  • Strong proficiency in data management and migration techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery
  • Hybrid role in DMV area (office located in Tysons, VA)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional (obtained within first year)
  • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant (obtained within first year)
  • Pre-Sales accreditation (to be obtained)

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and related technologies
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and security guidelines
  • Configure complex workflows, approval processes, and custom objects to meet federal requirements
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, and MuleSoft middleware
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges, ensuring optimal system performance
  • Manage data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities with high accuracy
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and assess their impact on existing implementations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during requirement gathering and solution design phases
  • Contribute to technical direction and feature roadmaps for federal platforms
  • Maintain thorough documentation of designs, processes, and configurations
  • Assist colleagues on project development and design challenges
  • Support internal business development activities including demos and technical
  • Lead development of modules and functionality on federal projects
