About The Position

Tricension is a technology consulting and software delivery firm focused on building and delivering high-quality digital solutions. We partner with organizations to execute complex software initiatives, from architecture and development to deployment and ongoing support, ensuring projects are delivered on time, at scale, and with measurable business impact. We are seeking a mid to senior Salesforce professional who operates confidently as both a functional consultant and a business analyst on client-facing Salesforce implementations. This role is ideal for someone who leads with business understanding first and Salesforce platform expertise second. You should be comfortable owning discovery and solution design end-to-end, running client workshops, translating business needs into structured requirements, and advising on Salesforce configuration without supervision on platform fundamentals. The right candidate can independently guide clients from discovery through delivery and UAT.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
  • At least one consultant-level certification: Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant
  • 3 to 5 years of Salesforce experience in client-facing implementations
  • Proven experience running discovery and leading requirements independently

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
  • Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Consultant certification
  • Additional Salesforce cloud certifications aligned to practice verticals
  • Experience with declarative configuration such as flows, page layouts, custom objects, and validation rules is a plus. However, this role prioritizes strong business analysis and consulting skills. We have developers for complex builds, and candidates will not be screened out for limited configuration experience if they are strong consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with minimal oversight
  • Elicit, document, and refine business requirements and user stories
  • Map business processes and perform gap analysis
  • Manage stakeholders across business and technical teams
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and documentation
  • Own the functional design throughout the Salesforce implementation lifecycle
  • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce features aligned to business goals
  • Translate client needs into a prioritized, structured backlog
  • Collaborate with developers on handoff for complex builds
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Present solutions and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
